Frequently Asked Questions
HOW AND WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?
The earlier you can manage to book your space for your special day, the better it will be for your planning. This proactive approach ensures that you secure an appointment and do not risk the possibility of us being completely booked on that particular date. On the other hand, we do make it a point to save a few coveted spots for last-minute bookings, but you should be cautious, as there simply aren’t that many available.
DO YOU ONLY TAKE WEDDING FLOWERS?
No, All moments are welcome from the just because to the loss of a loved one.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS?
CREATIVITY TAKES TIME
Turnaround time can vary significantly depending on the season, typically ranging anywhere from six months or longer based on the specific projects involved. For multiple-piece orders, additional time is necessary, as each individual piece often finishes at different intervals. There may be instances when the timeline extends beyond our initial expectations, particularly with new and intricate projects. We kindly ask for your understanding to please show grace and patience during this process, as we are fully committed to ensuring that we deliver the highest quality creations and are doing our very best for you.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
$150 minimum retainer fee. If you order is under 100 that item is al carte, must be prepaid as well as a $25-50 preservation fee added on
WHAT ABOUT IMPERFECTIONS?
Each and every item is meticulously handcrafted, and while imperfections are an inherent part of this beautiful process, it is essential to recognize that this does not diminish the amount of time and care we devote to each creation. Bubbles can occasionally occur during the curing phase; although we make it a point to pop as many as possible, some may remain by the time the piece is completed. These bubbles are affectionately referred to as “blowing kisses,” and they contribute to the individuality of each piece. Every creation is truly unique in its own right. Flowers may exhibit bruises or slight variations that sometimes only reveal themselves after the entire process is concluded. It is also important to remember that these once-vibrant blooms were part of a live plant, and they undergo a transformation involving a chemical process that can reach temperatures as high as 490 degrees during curing.
WHAT TYPE OF ART WORK SHOULD I GET?
If you find yourself feeling undecided, I sincerely urge you to take a moment to check out the GALLERY for some inspiring ideas that might resonate with you. It’s a wonderful collection that showcases the beauty and artistry of our work. Additionally, please keep in mind that resin, which we use in our creations, is a solid material and can become quite heavy. On average, larger works typically weigh between 8 to 10 pounds, so it’s important to consider this when selecting the perfect piece for your space.
HOW LONG WILL THE ARTWORK LAST?
These exquisite creations are truly heirloom pieces, crafted with care and attention to detail, allowing them to be cherished and passed down through the family. They can be celebrated for generations to come, serving as timeless reminders of nature's beauty and the stories that accompany them.
What is your Return/Exchange Policy?
Unfortunately, there are no returns or refunds available on any services rendered. However, if you find yourself unhappy with your service, please know that We will do my utmost to rectify the situation promptly and to your satisfaction. In regard to Commerce Shop orders, while there is a firm no refund or return policy in place, I will gladly facilitate exchanges if necessary, ensuring that you receive a product that meets your expectations.
Do you accept orders from other states? How do I ship?
Absolutely!!! Shipping flowers is quite a simple and straightforward process, and we will guide you step by step through this entire process together. When you book your exquisite flowers, please make sure to clearly indicate in the notes section that shipping is involved. Shipping costs can vary significantly depending on your specific zip code, typically ranging from 25 to 100. For a precise estimate, you may send your zip code via email, and we will provide you with an estimated shipping cost tailored to your location.
CAN ALL FLOWERS BE PRESSED?
The short answer to this is NO. However I will take small pieces of each flower and add to the frame . The best flowers to press are flat open flowers, the thicker, exotic flower does not press will as it retains moisture and can mold in this case please opt for a shadowbox.
DO YOU PRESS ALL MY FLOWERS?
No, I do not press all the flowers in a bouquet—why, you may ask? Well, one bouquet goes a remarkably long way, and I only preserve what is truly needed for the piece I am creating. The process of preserving flowers is quite intricate, involving multiple steps that take several hours to complete at each stage. If you find yourself wanting to incorporate extra flowers into your design, you have a couple of options: you can either remove the blooms you wish to work with before dropping them off, or alternatively, I can gladly preserve the additional flowers for you, though this would entail an extra cost.
CAN I JUST GET MY FLOWERS PRESERVED AND HANDED BACK TO ME?
No, I do not preserve flowers alone; rather, there are numerous intricate steps involved in the journey from the initial preservation of blooms to the final creation of stunning artwork that is truly unique. Each stage plays a crucial role in ensuring that the beauty of nature is artfully captured and transformed into exquisite designs.
IS IT TO LATE FOR MY FLOWERS?
It is never too late to engage with your creative spirit; I truly love working with beautifully preserved, previously air-dried flowers. Their unique character and delicate presence bring an enchanting quality to every project I undertake.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO PRESERVE THE FLOWERS?
The flower art process is an incredibly lengthy, arduous, and sometimes tedious endeavor, encompassing a great multitude of intricate layers. Each flower undergoes several different techniques, carefully applied, to ensure that the final artwork achieves the utmost longevity and beauty. We invite you to explore the process section to gain a deeper understanding of the meticulous artistry involved in creating our stunning pieces.
